This raft was constructed out of nearly 450 balls that I collected from the Bolsa Chica and Los Cerritos wetlands.  I then stand-up paddled it through Alamitos Bay, from the Cerritos wetlands to the open ocean-- a journey of 2 miles.  The costume, as well as the raft, is made entirely of wetland balls, p-cord, and glue.
